If memory serves me rightly, (you are using that ttfmanager or t1manager?)
the t1manager (this one I think) does not install the fonts to the fonts:
dir until a program asks for them (It works them out 'on the fly').
If you copy the original fonts that you installed from the aacd to a dir on
your hard disk (pfbfonts or somthing like that) and reinstall the fonts
from there it should stop this requester from appearing. (It stopped it
with me anyway)

I use ttfmanger (for truetype fonts) now as I would rather only have one
type of font taking over my hard disk!

I used to get this as well when using t1manager. I have got the fonts that I
used for t1manager as truetype fonts now, so I binned my t1mangaer install.
